Wireless Migration Checklist

Before transfer

• Charge both devices or keep chargers nearby.
• Confirm that photos, videos, contacts, and files are the priority content.
• Keep both devices close enough for the wireless workflow.
• Do not erase the old device until the new one is checked.

During transfer

• Follow the app prompts in order.
• Avoid switching networks or moving devices far apart.
• Let larger photo and video transfers finish before starting other tasks.

After transfer

• Open Photos or Files and spot-check important items.
• Check contacts for names and phone numbers you use often.
• Keep the old device untouched until you are comfortable that the new device has what you need.
